For those not yet in 11.0. DON'T UPDATE TO 11.0!!!
Wait until Atmosphere/Scires polishes any subsequent bug that might pop up during the week, and then we can create new patches if needed for the new final 0.16.0 version.
For those that have updated by mistake, or just because they feel confident, be sure to tell us if they work.

Hi, As Atmosphere 0.16 pre-release updated with a bugfix, this loader is no longer working.

I have made a new one. Here is the patches.ini if anyone needs.
Code:
[Loader:81530982b7d79dbc]
.nosigchk=0:0x6D9A:0x1:01,00
Attached is the .ips file, extract to atmosphere\kip_patches\loader_patches

All of the above still applies, don't update to 11.0 yet. Only need this if you are using 0.16 atmosphere pre-release.

So with these two, we now have the Loader and FS patches for the latest FW+Atmos.
All that remainsis just the ES patches then?

Yes, ES patches are being tested I hear, but we may need to wait until full atmosphere release. There is no point in doing all patches when it is only pre-release so far as new ones will be needed when 0.16 is full release.

So we just wait :)

No they wouldn't. FS and ES patches aren't related to atmosphere version, only loader.

hello will the front page be updated when sigpatches are finalized?
Yes, they will.
But as mentioned lately, we are still missing ES patches, we only have FS and Loader so far.
We might be better off waiting for the official Atmosphere version 0.16.0 instead of the prerelease.
Otherwise we'll have to redo all the patches once the stable version releases.

If I may also chime in, I personally am against pushing patches before they are fully released or even having a stable CFW release. Releasing patches early does the opposite of what firmware updates do; they reward people who update early. Yes its important to have patches for the newly released firmware but many things don't work when there is a new firmware even if CFW works. Releasing patches early just gives less people less incentive to hold back when in reality they just be practicing more self-control. Personally if you update early, that is your own fault and you either play the long waiting game or downgrade. And that waiting game is only growing longer due to Nintendo buckling down on everything hacking-related from modchips to patches except the CFW itself.

I agree, and no offense, but I truly feel like you should open another thread about this else where, just not here because your opinion can trigger people to spam useless posts regarding to yours. Entitled people are going to bother the modders/developers regardless of the patches coming in early, so it's just best to ignore them and wait patiently for and thank the developers for the new patches. I wholeheartedly agree, but I am afraid this post might trigger those impatient users to make this thread into a colosseum, pushing away actual good information and files(?).

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
