13.1.0 with athmosphere 1.2.4 and latest sigpatches (from op). I installed animal crossing base game + update 2.0 and happy home dlc with awoo. All my other games work, but animal crossing gets to the nintendo black loading screen, stays there for ~1 minute then crashes with "The software was closed because an error occurred". I'm a bit lost as to what to do next...
Awoo its outdated, try with AtmoXL

How do you get Animal Crossing to work?

I cant start the game at all...

It says software update is required.

I have 13.1.0 with athmosphere 1.2.4 and latest sigpatches and I installed using AtmoXL

The file on op have sigpatches for almost all fw and almost all Atmosphère
Thanks for letting me know. I used the ones from GitHub so that's probably the reason why my games title screen isn't showing (although I don't know if all I need is to have them patches on the sd card and/or tinfoil patches it by itself. I never needed them patches before).
Could that be the reason my games have no title screen and are just black?

Game's title screen isn't showing?
Is that game by any chance...
Pokemon BDSP?
Because if so, that's because the leaked game is shit and they didn't include a title screen until the 1.1.0 update is released.

Hopefully the singpatches can get updated so that I don't have half of my games getting corrupted making me reinstall them. I can't tell you how many times I had to reinstall Pokemon sword with the dlcs (so I can finish them and get all of the new Pokemon- I haven't played any of the dlcs and was finally going to).

I am going to wait patiently and just not turn off my switch anymore.

Yeah they work but most of the time my games end up corrupt.

Also, how can I add the singpatches to my Hekate? I have dual booted my switch but can't seem to install anything while I boot from Hekate payload via my laptop but it works somewhat ok with Atmosphere payload. Plus when I try to boot a game up, glad of the games end up becoming corrupt.

I think is a problem of reading OPs, release pages and documentation.

they are called: "sigpatches" no "n" on it.

if you have installed them correctly no "corruption" should arise.

the most common origin of corruption are:
  • Using the bad format type on your SD.
  • Incomplete copy of files to your SD, or copying to the wrong folder
  • do not uncompress all the folders structure correclty.
  • Unneded folders on SD:/atmosphere/contents
  • Outdated sysmodules and kip files
Since a while now, on the github page the two options of download files (hekate and fuse) are exactly the same files and content, the names are kept for compatibility with automated downloaders and updaters.

Sadly I don't use not-legal BDSP so can't test by my self but the sigpatches are working fine for me on all my Homebrew and game backups.

Well I did use the singpatches from here and replaced mine with them putting them in the right places. The tutorial I used to dual boot said to add the sigpatches to Hekate but they also didn't show what to add like if I needed to add lines in the bootloader/ini Hekate ini file.
