Hacking Signing and playing backups on ps3

Hi guys! im currently trying to get my hands on gundam Musou 3-I just jailbroke my ps3 a few minutes ago so I'm wondering-what steps do I need to take to get GM3 running?

like what programs would I need (i keep reading about eboots and keys and Im still confused)

I don't think you can play backups with the CFW released as of now.

it only boots homebrew.

IMHO, jailbreak =|= CFW 3.55

the games need again a special packaging to run

You can play some games with geohot using multiMAN 01.12.05.
But you need to edit the eboot and it's a pain in the ass. Just wait a bit and i'm sure things will get easier.

Agreed. The PS3 Scene has been advancing unbelievably fast, faster than Wii even, so if this rate continues we'll have a solution in no time.

Yeah screw all this signing and shit, it's just gonna be a waste of time eventually, just like injecting ROMs into WADs were back in the day of Wii shit. I keep telling myself "Just wait" even tho I already installed 3.55 GeoHot AND did the lv2 patching that I PROBABLY shouldn't have, and I'm also thinking I probably shouldn't have updated to 3.55. I assume this will be a "Wii 4.0" all over again, shit will get figured out eventually.

If we are just talking about signing .pkg's to install for Geohots 3.55, 'package_finalize.exe my.pkg' my.pkg being the name of the.pkg you wish to sign. Of course you need to use Cygwin and Geohots signing tools for this.

Yeah I would say just wait a bit for now. My PS3 is on... firmware 2.xx, I cant remember the exact number. Its been broken for nearly 2 years.
