Just a warning to everyone, if you're on 11.4 even with a9lh, you will in fact brick. You cannot recover the brick either. I was dumb enough to update to 11.4 on my o3ds before doing this. Luckily, it was just my o3ds and not my n3ds.
uhhhhhhhhh I was on 11.4 and I didn't brick. Just because it happened to you doesn't mean that it will happen 100% of the time

One of the benefits touted is that you can revive a bricked console. I have a console I bricked by installing the wrong region 2.1 CTR transfer file (stays on blue light if switched on, recovery menu fails to update). Will sighax let me revive this console by hardmod?

Now this makes me ever more hesitant

Dont be. I don't think he is following the 3ds.guide right

If you really want to make sure you're on sighax just hold start+select+X then check the boot9strap folder to see your otp.bin there

The Otp, arm9, and arm11

Just installed, both my 11.2 SysNAND and 11.4 EmuNAND working perfectly. I have my boot11.bin, boot9.bin and otp.bin in my boot9strap folder, as confirmation.

I just forgot, I thought boot.firm was placed in boot9strap, it was put in the root of sd card XD
I did the exact same thing. :V

Key point to remember: If the system turns on and immediately turns off, it's *not* a brick. It's Boot9Strap (and previously A9LH) telling you that there's no boot file on the SD card and/or CTRNAND.
