Does this mean that it's safe to update after installing?
Why not? I would think it would so people can make nand backups
Assuming i should delete luma updater for now?
You can do that with gm9, you just have to be more careful about what you restore.
Not so sure yet. They are both the same thing.According to the guide it is safe to update to a higher fw.
It looks like it still gets the new update so don't delete it yet. Just booted the updater up and it showed 7.1
You can still use GM9 for that, press the home button.
Yes I have one
boot.firm has to be on the root of your SD
Tried reinserting the SDCard again? Did you properly remove it in Windows?
Have you put all files correctly? Have you named the folder correctly?
I thought this http://www.sighax.com/ was a joke cause it didn't loaded for me until now, it's this supposed to be the same or what? appart from the community support that's obvious
Different developers. Same end result? One is opensource, the other is not?
This is the better original code made by Derrek. He was the one that showed the exploit off and a quick summary on how he went about dumping boot9.
CakesFW works with sighax. For the most part, there is one bug being fixed
As far as I know, they do the exact same thing, so there should be no difference in the exploit code? Anyway both should work fine and do the same thing. I however follow Aurora's recommendation's and since it added boot9strap and the guide also recommend boot9strap it's just the obvious choice for me.
Well, now were just waiting for things to be developed for sighax...
Success! Sighax installed and working great
Should I be on the latest A9LH Luma before installing?
