What does Invalid WAD mean exactly? I backup all my bought Wiiware/VC games to my server just in case, and was trying this out. 3-4 of them gave me invalid WAD. Does that just mean the files have gotten corrupt somehow and I need to redump, or what?

Mostly it occurs when the Title ID of the Ticket and Tmd doesn't match.
Well, that's the only invalid ones I had, dunno if it could be another issue.

Could be also something with waddatainfo. If so, it will be fixed in the next version, as waddatainfo isn't needed anymore.

Why does it have to rely on .NET ((((

simply because i'm coding in c# and c# is a .NET language.
where do you want to run the app, where you can't install/have .NET ?

Simply on winXP.
The reason i don't like .NET is that computer startup is slower after it's installed for some reason.
I've always managed to find non .NET versions of applications i've been interested in, but ShowMiiWads is the only one of its kind atm..
Anyway, don't mind me ^^;

I never noticed any change in startup time since .NET is installed.
anyway, you could run it in a kind of 'virtual box' like in the Wadder Portapack (where ShowMiiWads is included).
but I guess you won't pay that price (i.e. getting approx. 300MB) just for ShowMiiWads.
