Homebrew should i update my 3dsxl

i have a 3dsxl ver 10.0.0 should i update i really want to get badges and pokemon pictocross (i have menuhax/ironhax)

If you update, you lose menuhax.
For badges, you can use GYTB, no need to have the badge arcade.
Not sure about picross though.

Anyway, if you do decide to update, don't forget to update your ironhax payload BEFORE updating your firmware.
