Gaming Should I trade my Wii for a 360?

I'd trade the following:
Nintendo Wii
Twilight Princess
2 Remotes + 2 Nunchucks
Wii Sports
Stand
Sensor
whatever else came in the box

For:
Xbox 360 Premium
2 Wireless Controllers
Gears of War
whatever else came in the box


I really don't know what to do. I'd probably mod the 360 so I can play backups of my own games, but eh...

honestly, both are nice

being a nintendo fan, I'd say stick with the wii, once it's potential is realized, you'd regret not having one
however, everyone should have a 360, great system, got a lot of good games now.
personally, I'd stick with the wii, but realistically, I don't think you can go wrong either way

Based simply on the dollar value of the two setups, it seems like a wise trade.

Money aside, it makes sense to enjoy the 360's large library of games for now, and then get the Wii back when more games arrive for that

I'd trade for the 360 myself, though make sure your friends 360 isn't experiencing the red lights. I know it can be fixed but it'd be a pain to do it if you had to sort that out after trading.

It's a fair trade to me. I have both the Wii(chipped) and a 360( firmware modded), but I play with my Wii more than my 360. It comes down to what kind of games do you like. Also making 360 backup games is alot harder than making Wii back ups.

If there was a solderless way to mod the Wii I'd most definitely keep it.

Look for somebody who can solder for you. Use craigslist, to find somebody.

Don't know what wiis are like in the USA, but in the UK they are easy to get hold of. The xbox 360 you can just walk in and buy one. Also is it wise with the red lights getting a second hand xbox 360 that probably won't come with a guarantee.

Man, this is hard. The Wii has tons of good games coming out for it, but so far I've beaten everything good. The 360 has good games out (since it's been out longer) and has good games coming out for it too.

Plus the Wii has Super Smash Brothers: Brawl...

Wiis are quite rare in the UK but I think for now the 360 is a good option until people actually start developing for the Wii. Plus DVD firmware hack will let you play your backups and can still be used on live (with original games) of course.

Rainbow 6 Vegas, Oblivion, GRAW 2, Madden 07, Splinter Cell Double agent, NBA 2K7, Lost Planet, Forza 2 ( coming out at the end of the month), and Blue Dragon(this summer).
