So i just got a 8gb 3gs (with an otterbox) for just $180

I wanna jailbreak it but i have no idea if i should follow the stickied guide.. It is updated?

Yup, the guide is up to date for the latest firmwares (including 4.3.1 and 4.3.2).

I recommend jailbreaking with redsn0w, since there's no need to restore.
