Hacking Shiren The Wanderer save type

Can someone tell me what kinda save file Shiren uses? I tried setting it to Auto but the data gets overwritten when i load,i tried looking around dump lists but they all say¨´save type unknow´´

Can anyone help me? The intro is kinda long and I really dont want to try every single save type to see which one works..

Yo mang I set the correct save type and the dam game still corrupts the save files...anyone got any ideas¿
