Dang, wish I didn't leave the scene after my brick. This sounds like some cool crap. I probably should go and contact a hardmodder and fix up my crap.

I've already said I'm not going to help with compiling, because that at least puts some protection to prevent noobs from bricking.

Dude you're gonna break your system if you try this. It's in beta and isn't supposed to be used for the general community. Yeah I admit its some cool crap but you shouldn't be messing with it. It could open up and release saten for all we know. Nintendo never wants anyone touching there systems. Christ might just have to restart if you crack open the NAND of hell.

I've said time and time again that it's not complete yet, and I never claimed it had any sort of working parts like a CFW would. I don't understand why people refuse to listen.

I know you've said that, sorry if my wording was unclear. I meant that the two aren't comparable right now.

No real reason to even install this yet anyways. Even if it was complete what's the use of having a cfw on a nand without a SD card if you probably won't be able to even launch games with it at first release?

Booting carts/DSiWare is useful in case you forget your SD card I guess. It would also make it harder (?) for Nintendo to detect if you had to send it in for repairs.

Who would forget something that's in the system 99% of the time?
Anyways only way I would see use out of ShadowNAND is if it can launch games from SD from the nand.

If you're copying stuff to/from the sd card, you might leave it in your pc.
Then you will have a very fancy paperweight until you get home.

I never remove my SD-cards. Transfer everything i need using FTP. I have even tighten the screws for the back-covers on my N3DS:es

But yeah, then again, ShadowNAND is not for me.

It's way better than the shitty rubber clit it comes with.

Please stop, if you don't know how to compile it yourself and you are willing to beg in an unaffiliated thread, then you are not ready for this. You are more than likely going to brick your system, then complain in this thread about it.
