Strange. Can you try putting the wads on a usb stick? Perhaps try another sd card. In MMM, select load another ios, use ios250, see if that helps. If your wii is online you should be able to install from NUS.

The bootmii booter failed because you don't seem to have bootmii installed, or the booter also can not read your sd-card.

Running the hackmii installer and attempting a boot2/ios bootmii install is not a horrible idea.

You could try to update from disk via a disk loader from HBC, but I don't think the update can run from outside the SM.

Not sure if reinstalling priiloader would help with the missing title or not, but if everything else fails you could give it a go.

By USB Stick, I gues you mean USB Jump drive. I could try that.

I can't get online to install from NUS, because I can't get into the System Menu to set upt the WiFi.

I tried running the hackmii installer from Pre-loader as an installed file and I get a code dump, same as when I tried to install Rev 20 a bit back.

I can't get into HBC at all to try doing an update from disk.

I was thinking about doing an update to Pre-loader, but am afraid that if anything goes wrong, I won't even have Pre-loader and will be totally screwed.

Gordino; I can't seem to see the SD card once I get into MMMto load anything else.

I'll try re-installing Pre-loader later, but any other thoughts in the meantime would be great.

Like other posters have said, try reading them off of a USB flash drive.

I have a thought, instead of installing MMM or any other app as a file, installa forwarder dol build specifically for preloader. Like one of the ones for usbloader gx or configurable usb loader. Then, just save the dol for MMM in the location the forwarder launches (ie. FAT:\apps\usbloader\boot.dol). Then try launching the installed file and hope for the best, the app should be more stable now that it has been forwarded to and running off the sd card instead of installed to NAND

btw, if u want to be able to choose a device other than SD in MMM, u need to modify the mmmconfig file, u can use nusad to do that, or u can do it manually

but i do NOT think its a good idea to reinstall priiloader just yet, if something goes wrong, u wont have many other options left to u

XFlak;

You are a frigging genuis. That worked like a charm.

Once I followed Mauifrog's directions to update to 4.1 it worked fine.

It came up as a brand new system as if someone just took it out of the box.

My guess is that someone was trying to mod it and got into a fix at one point and then just did a system restore from the System menu which made it even worse.

Thanks for all the help.

I learned a lot and maybe next time (hope there won't be a next time) I'll be able to take care of it myself or even help someone out on the forum some time.

Have one on me.

I love those commercials.

Thanks again everyone.
