Hacking second hand Switch with firmware 1.0.0

I say just update if you want to do something with your switch. You can wait forever for a CFW and God knows how usable it will be. Get a SX PRO and get pirating/homebrewing - life is short, and with the slow rate of switch homebrew, the system will be obsolete before you get any fun out of it.

Thanks for the input.

I should've mentioned that I already have another switch on Firmware 4.1 and plenty of switch games in my backlog. The idea of getting a second unit was having a separate switch to test backups and be worry free about bans. I have placed a preorder for the SX pro, but it will take a while to be shipped. I'll keep the unit at 1.0.0 for now, and see if the CFW options mature some more. If I get desperate to try new games, I'll backup the 1.0.0 NAND and update the switch to 4.1 or 5.0 without blowing fuses and perhaps even without updating the cartridge slot.

grabbed one from them.
not much to say, only few wearoff on the joycon. probably "snapped" alot with switch tray.
mine is on 4.0.1:(
