I wonder if it’s okay. My attic gets so hot during the day in summer it’s literally life threatening to stay in it too long. I can’t imagine an NES cart going through 30 summers of that would fare too well.

He's lucky he either has considerate parents or lazy parents... everything in my parents loft has been binned over the past 25 yrs since I moved out... boxed Street Fighter 2 Snes console - binned... huge collection of original Star Wars toys - binned, boxes of DC and Marvel comics from the 70's and 80's - binned ...yeah, I wish my parents were lazier.
