4 gig is the maximum being used in a DSTT I've heard of at the moment. Genuine 2 gig Kingston works well. I think +4 gig depends on a future firmware/os upgrade.

I just received my DSTT and have not yet bought a microSDHC card.
(Currently using it with a 512MB microSD card).

Is 4 GB the maximum size supported by DSTT ?
Or does it support 8GB SDHC as well ?

Wow, they JUST said above you that 4GB is the maximum right now.

Paying Attention FTW.

And they are correct.

okay thanks.
Just wanted to be sure that 4GB is the maximum right now.

The ndstt website gives the following info :
◇ SDHC TF and standard TF compatibility up to 4TB(4096GB) flash memory card.
◇ High speed SDHC. Supports any TF card speed with no lag in game.....

I just got an A-Data 4gb - I hope it is good and will not freeze, I understand either A-Data or Kingston (MIJ) are best?

Where are you getting your information? The DSTT web site thinks you're mistaken:

www.ndstt.com? 100% SDHC TF and standard TF compatibility up to 4TB(4096GB) flash memory card.

Well, that isn't correct, as i use a 8GB Sandisk (Class 4) in mine, and it works flawless filled it up to about 4.8GB this far.
I formatted it to FAT32 with 64KB clusters, and it works awesome, even tried both Castlevanias, both intro-videos completly lag-free, and played about 1h of both games , (well PoR freezed once.. but it seems to work quite good still)

I don't know where you guys find these 8gb ones - in Canada they are few and far between, so I settled on a 4gb A-Data.

I was lucky that the shop which i was going to order a 4 or 6 GB card from, got the 8GB card the same day as I was going to order
smile.gif

(also, my father got a discount from that store, which he gets from his work,)
the memorycard costed about 695 Swedish Kronor, and with my discount, it was pushed down to 590+49 Kronor shipping,
so 650 Swedish Kronor for 8GB , I think it's quite a deal

( can't be bothered converting the price, you go do that

)
and yes, sweden is rather expensive, so i wouldn't be surprised if ya found a store in another country with a better price, but im settled with mine, and like it

@ noONE : thanks for the confirmation

good to see that 8 GB is supported by DSTT.

I have not yet bought a microSDHC card, but now I'm sure I'm going to buy the the 8GB instead of the 4GB.

Although right now, I'll wait until the price goes down a little more.
In the mean time I'll keep using with my spare 512MB microSD.
