So I've found an answer to a question I had not long ago: is there a way to run TCP Gecko and SDCafiine at the same time (looking to load a trainer while at the same time using model imports), and the answer I found was, yes, but with one limitation. And that is through the app Geckiine. Thing is, Geckiine is kinda old at this point, and so the only way that it can load Cafiine by connecting to your computer running a Cafiine client. This works, but it makes loading the game needlessly slower, especially compared to how quickly SDCafiine boots up games by reading your mod files right from your SD card. So my question is, can the Geckiine app be modified so that the cafiine portion functions like SDCafiine and instead reads your mod files from your SD card and not over a wireless connection? I would really appreciate it if this could get made.

Also, Geckiine doesn't allow for the use of codes that TCPGecko can load, is there anyway this could be implemented as well?

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
