Hacking SD/TF card error

Hey guys, my R4 just gave me the SD/TF card error. I tried to use the R4 card reader to see if I can access the files on my computer but every time I select the drive it says "The disk in Drive I is not formatted. Would you like to format it now?". I'm looking for some way to recover my save files but I have no idea how to do this. At the moment trying to use this tool to recover the data.

But I have no idea what to pick for the partition option. If you guys have some other software that you recommend go ahead and tell me. I'm using a Kingston 2GB memory card. So yeah... help

personal experience of a few days ago I had the same problem, I had replaced, the R4

It should be FAT16 if that's what you are asking.
