Hey so I have an old 3ds xl and now the "sd card won't mount" error wont go away.

so long story short this 3ds had homebrew on it before but all of it was relatively old so i wanted to do everything new. I formatted the sd card in the ds options then updated the ds but luma were still on it so it bricked. I know that would be an easy fix updating luma isn't really difficult. The thing is the sd card is one of the bigger ones and i dont have a slot for it on my new pc. So i just put the whole homebrew stuff on a smaller sd card (like they tell you on 3d-hacks-guide). But when i put the sd cards in it sais Sd card wont mount. I also tried another sd card but it said the same thing. But i dont think its the ds itself because if worked perfectly fine before the update.
Do i need to use the same sd card or is there another reason?
pls help T-T

(Yes I formatted both sd cards and checked if they have any errors but my pc sais they work just fine)

This is the DS section..

I assume you are talking about the 3ds.. but how is that a brick?
You need to update Luma3DS too to the latest version (v.11) in order for your system to work normally.

That's not possible.
Make sure the sd card you're using is formatted as Fat32 32kb cluster size.

That depends. Just format it correctly and copy the latest Luma3DS to it, then try again.

...
Check the sdcard adapter and see if it is in the unlocked position. Try with a different one if you have to.
