I noticed every time i play a channel from the SD card menu, it creates a file for every single game called "SD Card Menu Data" and it takes up the same amount of space as the channel. I normally just keep deleting them, but i am curious as to what it is used for, and why does it need to keep creating a file for each game. Seeing as how it takes up the same amount of channel space as the channels themselves, how exactly is this an answer to the Wii's storage problem?

when you launch a game off the sd card menu it will "unpack" (kind of like unpacking part of a wad) that game and create a temporary file. Long story short, (I could make this longer)....

1.There will always only be 1 sd card menu data channel file, if you play a new game it will overwrite that file.
    2. EVEN if you have 0 BLOCKS of space on your wii, YOU CAN STILL PLAY A GAME ON YOUR SD CARD, after you go back to the wii menu it will say you need to free space bla bla, just delete that sd card menu data.
