Make a big vehicle, such as an excavator, and put it so you go inside.
It will then drop down a level if it is too tall for the level it's on.
This is particularly useful in 2-3 with the security.

I don't think I explained that very well, but it works.

I've noticed a glitch in that level where you have to retrieve the lamp from the cave, and there are things blowing air, the one that blows air up sticks you to the ceiling between two stalactites, if you make a box under yourself the air will blow it beneath you and then push you into the roof.
