I already modded my Wii and I only have BootMii as IOS otherwise I would give it a shot.

-restore trucha
-install cios249
-install loadergx

I'll use stopwatch to check that time next time

Without IOS222, IOS223 and the patched IOS70, I will regard the mod not completed.

With "loadergx" installed, I will regard it as contamination.

I need no stopwatch. Actually, if I press buttons faster intentionally, the mod time can be reduced to only 3 mins.

P.S. I use MMM to mod.

automatic TBR
STUB removal
CIOS installation (maybe we can select what CIOS we want)
Priiloader (enabling hacks manually)
cioscorp (by choice)
wad installation (by users choice)
finished

estimated time: less than 30 mins.

Yes, we are doing some tests.

Actually, we have done this:

- Sciifii fully configurable via XML (ie sciifii is more a sequencer, you can choose different activities and manage menus, modify the disclaimer etc... directly via the config file)
- We have added a WadBatchInstaller
- We have added the priiloader (but, this isn't working yet. We are working on this... The sysMenu is moved but the priiloader not copied....)

For the V3 (and higher versions), i plan to do this:

- Allow users to create custom tasks (i will provide simple elements like FileDownloader, WadInstaller, TitlePatcher etc... You will create your tasks by element composition)
- Create a repository to allow users to publish their config files and add an option to Sciifii to browse this repository
- Create an open source Elf loader channel
- And an other project, but this one is a secret

By the way, we have developped a new ui framework. This one is event oriented (like in C# for exemple) and is thread safe. We need coders to put an ui on sciifii (if people are interested). When the ui for sciifii will be ready, we will publish our framework wich is composed of an ui framework and a lot of tools like ios manager, file system manager etc...

Finally, something that I can easily customize. Things like DOP-IOS MOD are a PITA to customize because you have to recompile them, not to mention you find yourself needing more than one app.

A UI would be nice, but I'd say this will still be extremely useful without one. Look at DOP-IOS MOD. It has an ugly console-based interface, but its still an awesome app.

Can't wait for this.

Good to know.

Priiloader's official installer (0.2, haven't used 0.3) had a good chance of either fully bricking your wii or leaving you with priiloader that couldn't boot to the SM.
