Hacking SCDS-1 out-of-the-box problem... yay

I can't get one good damn flashcart can I? My DS isn't seeing my SC unless I hold it down with a finger. Suggestion on where to start sticking cardboard. =\

Stick a piece of paper in between. I put mine of the back of the cart. That's what I do when it doesn't get recognized. So far, it always worked.

I stuck it in and pulled it out about 100 times and it seems to be working 75% of the time now. Yaaay. =\

Did you try the self test? Hold down left & right buttons when you power on the DS. I started having the same problems a few weeks ago. Ran the self test and got the PSRAM error.

Thankfully Real Hot Stuff was nice enough to replace it (6 months later) as long as I paid for the shipping.

No PSRAM error, and it seems to work 100% of time now. The plastic was probably not used to the slot and putting up too much resistance.

i was playing metal slug yesterday and it froze. i turned the ds off and then back on. the supercard was not getting recognized. i did this a couple more times, then blew into the holes, and it finally worked. man, i am a little disappointed in quality control.
