Hello guys again, today!
I've been saving up for a Sony PS3 for a few months now, and so far I have about ...
20 euro out of 300 euro. I've been wanting one for ages and I'm not allowed one for Christmas soo..
Any ideas on how to save up more?

1. Make money

2. Don't spend money

3. ???

4. Profit

The only way. Get a fucking job, and if you already have one, get a second.

Or, given your assumed age, wait until you can get a job. PS3 should have a good 5-7 years left.

The only way you are going to be able to get one is if you either get a job or sell some stuff you don't use.

Also don't spend your money, open up a bank account and deposit your earnings so you won't be tempted to spend it.

Ok I think getting a job is a great idea!
But..
I'm 14, can I get one in Ireland?
What kind of job can I look for?
Are kids still allowed to deliver papers in the morning? That's how I made money when I was a kid.

EDIT: Another trick was to skip dinner at school and keep the dinner money my parents gave me. It all adds up.

My friend used that method, and within 2/3 years, he saved up 400 euro!
But I couldn't get away with that, sorry.

Over here iIrc minimum wage is £3.57 . If you were to work 4 days from 9-5 on minimum wage it would add up to 114.24. Everywhere I've worked I've always had above minimum wage so that's £114.24>.

As you're 14 I know you can't do anything about a job during the week so just stick to saturday jobs. I've asked around every cafe and restaurant in a whole before to get a job and no one would accept me.

Save up birthday and holiday money.

Also don't be afraid to do handy jobs. Mowing lawns, walking dogs, deweeding gardens. Each weekend will add up.

(I'm also saving up for a PS3 ^.^, hope you get it soon!)

Unfortunately, I can't get a job because I am so young.
Any other ways?

Jobs = money, and without a job you don't get money.

So the obvious answer is no. Either do off-the-books jobs like lawn mowing and stuff 14 year old kids do or wait until you can get a job.
