Technically wrong section but just let a mod move it when he can. Collecting soda cans can help too. Maybe don't eat as much during lunch and let the dollars add up. Trust me when you say you have alot of time. There isn't too much of a reason to buy a DSi yet.

well...I saved for my sis's ds lite with 50% of the price tag and asked another 50% more from my parents. my savings are from my allowance for 3 months. Hope that helps

Isn't there a deal at EB Games/ GameStop where you can trade in your DS Lite and get ~$80 off of your DSi? That'd make it so you don't have to save as much money.
