Hacking Save editing : Rune Factory 4

Hello guys,

Just recently tried to edit the save : rf4a.sav
so here is some of the addresses

0000004A-4D = Money
0000003B-3C = Wood
0000003F-40 = stone


well, the only problem is the checksum, any idea how to calculate it? :/

I think if you use save data filer, you can export a decrypted save file, edit it, and then import it back and it fixes the checksum for you.
Unless its a card2 save, in which case, nothing can be done currently.

Really? I already tried that serveral times, and it corrupted. Does it because of the 6.x encryption?
Oh yeah, its card1 game.

No SavaDataFiler doesn't fix the checksum, you have to do this yourself. Send me two or three save files with little to no difference (save in the game, export the save, load the game again, save right away, export the save again) and I can try to help you

there are like 3 slots for saving in this game.. should i send the same 3 save with same slot or its okay to send different slot?

I just found out more about the save encryption. As of now I'm able to disable the save checksum check with a patched rom. Maybe I can find out the details of the hash generation, then I could make a checksum calculator tool

(I actually managed to find out, how the hash is generated, so it's a patching tool for the save files to give them valid checksums after editing.)

well basically you can inject AR-format code into ram using web exploit. See this thread, i also post some code of fire emblem and rune factory there
