ROM Hack Saltysd update?

I read another tutorial on how to set up LayeredFS and it says that I'd need to get a code.bin of my Smash game in order to utilize LayeredFS
I looked around but I can't seem to find anything that tells me how I'd would go about getting the code.bin for my Smash

You'll need to rebuild your romfs with ROMFS Builder. Just name it romfs and place it in luma/titles/titleID/romfs

I've never used RomFSBuilder before since it crashed when I tried so I'm not sure how to use it or what I would need
I know that u would need a dump of the game which I have but I don't know how I would set up the process
Is there a video or a Tutorial here for that???
Because the one I saw in the Smash 3DS hacking page didn't work
