@LittleXiao
I compiled the screen_init branch with backlight set to 0.Did you mod it to change backlight too?
Well, that's what happens when brightness is set to 0Looks like a slightly bright screen-init will be needed after all. None of my payloads appear to be running with Luma3DS, not even config. Key word being appear: pressing Start to reboot still works fine. Sorry to complain, but is that a deliberate side effect?
Oh, of course. I should have known. Thanks; please keep your link up in case others want to use it. I'll use the no screen-init payload.Well, that's what happens when brightness is set to 0
It's mostly for use with something link arm9loaderhay which sets the backlight manually where needed, not for use with Luma3DS.
If you juts want to get rid of screen flicker use the non-screen init payloads.
Maybe you should update the compiled dateNo need to keep the link, I rehosted the payload
no screen-init payloads shouldn't have screen flicker (unless maybe you have the splash screen option on in luma3ds?)For some reason, the no screen-init payloads still have that screen flicker. Is it just me, or is it Luma3DS?
Oh duh, I had the splash screen enabled without realizing it. I disabled it and now there's no more flicker. Thanks.no screen-init payloads shouldn't have screen flicker (unless maybe you have the splash screen option on in luma3ds?)

What is the benefit of doing that exactly?Use no Init with Luma to reinit the screen with a check in the config
Ahh okay gotcha, thanksRead the OP. There is no benefit if you're a custom image or BootAnim9 user
