Looks like a slightly bright screen-init will be needed after all. None of my payloads appear to be running with Luma3DS, not even config. Key word being appear: pressing Start to reboot still works fine. Sorry to complain, but is that a deliberate side effect?

Well, that's what happens when brightness is set to 0 :P

It's mostly for use with something link arm9loaderhay which sets the backlight manually where needed, not for use with Luma3DS.

If you juts want to get rid of screen flicker use the non-screen init payloads.

Oh, of course. I should have known. Thanks; please keep your link up in case others want to use it. I'll use the no screen-init payload.

For some reason, the no screen-init payloads still have that screen flicker. Is it just me, or is it Luma3DS?

So is there any advantages to using these payloads over the basic screen init one? And what exactly does the non init one do, it doesnt show any splash screen or let you use button payloads correct?
