I'd love a way to just download themes from Anenome or Plaza and store them in the 3DS so we can shuffle through and change them in the 3DS built in theme menu.
 
The 3DS has a distinct lack of RTS games, however a while back the source for the PS1 edition of Warcraft 2 was leaked.
Any chance that could be ported to the 3DS? (O3DS support included)

Having Warcraft 2 natively on the 3DS would be epic.

NSUI does that. It creates gba vc injects. The only thing is it still uses the gba mode which the 3ds needs to boot to. Otherwise you will need to create gba forwarder vc injects. which would use a emulator like mgba.

That would be nice as long as the cosmetics end looking good. It will probably have to boot in a special mode to do it, like when you use Godmode in firmware mode or something.

Homebrew Misc Project  Thread 'Looking for 3DS C++ Homebrew app developer'

I've been working on a idea for a 3DS Homebrew app and I have made a C# project that could be easily ported to the 3DS, the only problem is I do not know C++
It's a pretty simple app, but yeah if anyone wants to help please DM me. I’ll send my code to you.

i mean it has to make sense , of your telling me he can ask for a switch emulator port on 3ds too? ideas are fine but they need to be useful or make sense.

I post and idea, i don't know if is not possible. I mean at least something to play *.mid files as audio player. I like listen videogames music like when we where child 🙏🏻

it is not an homebrew idea, but a firmware change. Allow to change the default brightness levels and if possible, the audio gain.
The console has 5 brightness levels. The issue is that the Nintendo 2DS screen is quite dim even on level 5. Turns out the max default brightness set up is 117 when it can go as much as around 170. When playing at night it is okay, but it is awful to play in the day. Other thing is that the audio jack is quite low as well. It is even impossible to use higher quality headphones because the audio is so weak, you have to use cheap earbuds.
It is possible to change the brightness level beyond the original system in Rosalina Menu but it doesnt persist and if you play a DS game it goes back to 117.
