Hacking rxtools offline app ?

Hmm, I'm trying to be a nice guy and host the launcher for all, but it doesn't seem to work.

Does nothing in a browser (probably expected), on my 3DS I see "Downloading ROP file GW17567.dat:" and it stops there. Is that supposed to happen?
I'm running my server on IIS which is probably nonstandard. I just installed the PHP5 stuff though, and got a phpinfo to work, so I don't know if that's the problem or not.

Where else is it being hosted? I haven't seen any links so far...

And much like how go.scmods.com died, I'd rather have something I know won't go anywhere
Once I get it working I'll leave it up indefinitely.

Yeah, hosting it on gbatemp would be useful too, but I have a feeling it would get them in trouble with Nintendo, similar to how you can't put launcher.dat stuff on filetrip.

I'm fine hosting it myself if someone can figure out why it doesn't work properly...

Simply put mset/rxinstaller.nds in your DS flashcard, then run it and install the exploit for 4.x.
To launch rxTools, open System Settings → General Settings → Profile → Nintendo DS Profile.

You have to repeat the procedure only after playing a DS game.

Was the MSET for 6.x ever finished? I don't want to use the 4.x one because then none of my retail games will work due to the newer save encryption.

Does it work with 7.x too or just 6.x? My 3DS XL that I bought NIB a little while ago is on 7.2, but I can always Gateway downgrade, then cart-upgrade to 6.2 if needed.

It probably works on 7.x, but you need to downgrade System Settings.

That's normal, press Home to return to the Home Menu, then go to System Settings → General → Profile → DS Profile.

Do you have rxTools.dat in your SD?
Does your rxInstaller look like this, with the cake on the top screen?

Doesn't really work. The only options are 4.x and 9.2, I upgraded to 9.2 and it still just says YS:/rxTools.dat

I assume I have to install the older system settings regardless which one I use? Ideally I'd keep it on 6 or 7.x so there's no theme stuff on sysNAND to worry about, but still has the new save encryption.
