No. It works exactly the same on 7.2 as it does on 9.2. How are you not making it work? Its a three step process.

1.Downgrade MSET to 6.x
2.Put code.bin on root of SD card
3.Go to website to launch exploit

So I'm a bit confused here. I got a .cia of the 6.x MSET using 3DNUS, but I can't install it using a title manager since it's a system title, etc etc

I have the code.bin, but what *exactly* do I need to do to downgrade my MSET?

If I just scan the QR code for 7.1-9.2, it doesn't work. It just says it downloaded and doesn't execute. I can make a ropCustom.txt that says rxtools.dat, but that doesn't change the fact that nothing is loading.

You install the cia with FBI to downgrade your MSET. This said been said thousands of times.
Nothing is loading because you have not downgraded your MSET. Read the instructions, its not hard

Oh, I was trying using BigBlueManager, I'll try it with FBI though

Edit: Got it installed with FBI. Still nothing happens when I try the QR code.

Edit 2: OK yeah. I tried making a ropCustom.txt file with rxTools.dat in it, still errors when I try to load DS profile. It does give an error though rather than just simply not work. So the loadcode part worked - I saw the screen flicker and then crash *after* I hit home, but rxTools still won't load over ROP.

Edit 3: OK, I tried the rxTools_2015-07-12 files I had (I assume that's what you're calling rxTools 3 Beta) and it actually loaded this time.

Weird that 2.6 doesn't work that way. Oh well, resolved for the time being.

Last edit: OK, actually it seems it doesn't want to load at all. I get what looks like this:

And in red it says MISSING THEME FILES!
Do I *need* theme files? I don't really care about themes, just want to launch my emuNAND.

OK, so I replaced firmware.bin with the new one. And now I just see [.......]
MISSING THEME FILES!

Now what? This is really frustrating me.

Edit: I just shut the 3DS off after the ... screen sat there for a few minutes. Turned it back on, opened DS Profile again and it loaded.

Not sure why it froze in the first place but I think it's good now.
