Hacking running vc

ive a pal wii with wiikey and running fw 3.1, ive managed to install preloader,bootmii (boot2) and wad mgr 1.4.
now i want to install some vc stuff,

i installed sonic and contra via wad mgr, they installed fine and show on the menu.

but when i try launch them they dont run, contra goes back to wii menu and sonic says this channel cant be used then hangs machine.

when i tryed to tun Trucha Bug Restorer it just showed me ios35 and not 36 as in the instructions i followed, so i disreguared that part.

and i didnt install
IOS38-64-v3610
IOS50-64-v4889
IOS53-64-v5149
IOS55-64-v5149

do i need to install of these files since its a old firmware., as i was going to but dont know if putting these versions would screw the wii, or cabn i install them with no errors.

also do i need to upgrade to v 4.1 ??

Ok.

As I know of now, WiiWare and VC uses IOS 53 and 55 to run as they´re supposed to.

Install them using DOP IOS Mod and you´re set to play.

No need to be an ass about it, but yeah, that's why your VC isn't running. Try installing those IOS (Mainly 53 and 55) and try again.

there is a full need for it because people dont read, or search, and if youre stupid enough to skip steps then you should be packing your wii up and taking it back to the store.
