Hi everyone, I am planning on moving my GBA saves from my cartridges onto my computer and thus have downloaded the GBA Backup Tool from Rudolph http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/applications/download-gba-backup-tool-0-21-f3228.html as well as the firmware for my card from www.r4ids.cn. I placed the launcher.dat file from the firmware download into the root of my micro sd card as well as the gba backup tool folder. My flash cart is from Real Hot Stuff http://www.realhotstuff.com/R4i-Gold-3DS-RTS_p_86.html.
However when I power on my DS, I get to the normal DS screen where you can choose to enter the GBA game or the DS cartridge and I select the DS cartridge but am met with a black screen. Nothing else happens. I feel that I am missing something important here. Could anyone help me out?
Edit: So immediately after posting this I realized I was using the firmware for the gold card instead of the wood card ><
