Hacking Running Burnt Games

Ok so someone i know is going overseas and is bringing back some Wii games for me (non-legit ones) And so i want to run them on my wii obviously. But is there a way to do so without getting my Wii Modded? Or do i Have to get it modded?

Yes you can softmod or install a solderless/soldered modchip.
