Hello

I'm new to NS homebrew and have some experience on previews Nintendo consoles especially on Wii. I'm on latest SXOS for NS in emunand (switch update v9.1.0) nd I'm trying to run games at old versions. I've started with Zelda BOTW and inserted the cartrige but it won't start, it forces me to update.

How can I skip the forced update dialog and start the game? Can I do something now I'm in emunand and running homebrew?

I'm aware only of DevMenu that can reset required game version. From available stuff if blawar's Tinfoil doesn't support it, then I don't know.

I've found an option in Tinfoil "Ignore Soft firmware check" with description "In some situations, this can slightly decrease the required system version for games to run.... " Is this for the games? It was ON by default I think but it doesn't work in my case.

I have hard time to understand how to run devMenu on SXOS. The only way to run it is from main menu (by replacing Pokemon game) or I can run it also from homebrew?

Why don't you just update BotW?

I'm on Homebrew and I want to have the old glitches again available. Maybe also I'll try older cheats I've found(or maybe not they seem to spoil savegames) . Don't worry I'm not a youtuber and I won't go online. I wanna do it to have easily the weapons back again after an exhausting battle with gold lyanel or something like that. Also I finished it once on my Wii U which maybe was stolen, and I want to have some items back easily on switch version.

Google for the Definitive Edition Version of DevMenu and install that one!
The layeredFS Version is very outdated.

There's also an Online Save Game Editor for BotW.

Nope, this is just reducing required FW, not game update.

After many tries I found the nsp version (It seems that it doesn't need a game for placeholder but I can't be sure) In a webpage that I don't trust for files.

It really worked, it resets required version!!!

On emunand I'm on 9.1.0 CFW and 9.2.0 on the latest OFC.

I'm on version 1.0 the game and it works now. I've also loaded the 1.6v savegames with v1.0 but it loaded Link without clothes. I just selected from the menu and everything is ok. If you do this, backup the savegames first, just in case...

Now I'm trying to find a way to install 1.3 version of the game, just to make sure it works with all dlc. I think it was on 1.3 when I bought and played all dlc. Any ideas? Is there a way to retrieve 1.3 update or any other?
