[RUMOUR] YouTube coming to the Switch?

upload_2018-11-3_13-0-12.png

For those on the latest firmware, the Switch has little to offer in terms of multimedia entertainment. Currently limited to just the Hulu app (and the niconico app on the Japanese eShop), things may be about to change if Nintendo enthusiast NintendoHOME is to be believed. Claiming to have seen a notification of the app's arrival for the 8th of November, it spells hope for those wanting more than just a games system.

This should be taken with a reasonable degree of uncertainty, with images easy to fake and myself not being able to locate any further information. You can check out the translated tweet below, and find the original via the source link.
❓ Rumour – The YouTube app is expected to arrive soon on Nintendo Switch, especially on November 8th if you believe the Nintendo America website.
Do you think it's real? Are you still waiting for Netflix before updating your Switch? Let us know below!

It's really usefuI if you leave the switch attached to your main TV.
All my tvs have youtube build in.
Also have 2 media boxes.
And as other have said its on ever other system.
So i dont see how its needed on the switch.
Just like there is hulu om the switch.
Watch hulu all the time on my tv but never on the switch,ps4 or xbox.

Gaming system for gaming

It definitely won't need a Nintendo Online subscription. It uses Google's own servers.

I doubt they'll make that mistake again.
Rocket League uses its own servers but it still requires a subscription.

I honestly think that there is going to be some surprising unexpected feature which would explain why it took so long to release. Nintendo and Google have real good relationship so not impossible.

this is how all of them do it (with exceptions) which is so annoying. I'm assuming it's to increase revenue while reducing confusion. but video streaming is a different kind of beast so can fall outside of the "requires game servers" rule.

errr... not all of them...
I'm a Nintendo Fanboy :P
I'm not complaining about no exploit,
and I don't understand those who do
Of course I'd like hackers find one,
but it's not like it's Nintendo's job to make exploit in their own console lol

Yeah I can see where your coming from. I should’ve just said most of Nintendo’s fans, because the fan base is cancer. I like Nintendo. But if YouTube requires ARMS, Online subscription or the retarded app, I’ll be pissed. But then again this IS Nintendo and they hardly listen to their fans anyway...
