Rumor: Okami Sequel to be Revealed in next Famitsu?

Okamiden is and one step closer to being tangible. The title will be shown in next week’s issue of Famitsu.

Ishaan discovered the leak which is from, believe it or not, 7-Eleven. Their product page for the September 17th issue of Famitsu lists Okamiden as contents in that issue. This might be hard to swallow, but 7-Eleven confirmed Kojima’s cloud teaser was related to Metal Gear Solid before the issue arrived in stores.

As we revealed last week, Capcom registered a trademark for Okamiden and this is not the Japanese name for the Wii version of Okami. That’s called Okami there too.

Never played Okami, but from what i'v heard it's a great game, didn't expect a sequel though.

Somehow I doubt its a sequel.
The name Okami can be used for other things too I think.
So may just have something to do with sun gods or something and nothing out right awesome.
We'll see just what its about soon enough though.

An Okami sequel would be kinda nice.
But I'm not gonna keep my hopes up.

Okami was a very awesome game on the PS2. Wonder which console it will be for.

If it was a spin off for ds and uses the toushscreen, it would be great. But well, its unlikely. Still, the game will be awesome regardless.
