Hacking Roms won't all load

Hi Folks,

Got a problem with my son's DS. ABout 3 quarters of the roms won't load. I did a fake check on the card and it is legit. When I select a game, the game starts to load and then gets to about 75 % loaded but then it hangs and after several minutes, it still shows the same progress. I think it is sticking??? I've redone the card several times and still have the same problem. I kow the roms are good , as I have used them on several other DS carts and they run smoothly. Can somone point me in the right direction?

Which games are they?

Maybe completely format the card to FAT32 and then re-install the firmware.
If those games are all new games, I hope for you that your son is patient.
It can take some time before these are fixed.
It can also be helpful to give more specs, such as which card, firmware etc.

I fixed this by switching to YSMenu.

How exactly do you change to YSmenu and what does it do? because I'm having the same problem... Where the game icon should be on the ttds menu screen it is white and if I try to load it, it gets stuck halfway and doesn't work...

How exactly do you change to YSmenu and what does it do? because I'm having the same problem... Where the game icon should be on the ttds menu screen it is white and if I try to load it, it gets stuck halfway and doesn't work...

That might be a different problem entirely if your game icon isn't showing up on the DS/DSi...

YSMenu is DSTT Firmware ported for R4 card and its worse than DSTT firmware


Copy all your Sons .nds games and saves and whatever u want to keep off the card

Google "Panasonic Formatter" download and install this
run the program and format the card using the basic default settings
(do not use windows formatter as this is the problem)
(your SD card does not have to be a panasonic one to use this program)

the download "DSTT Unofficial 1.17.12a"(this is the latest all others are fake)
extract these files to the Root of the SD card

download my files in my sig
extract the the TTMenu folder on the SD card

copy all games and saves back to the SD card

and you should be good to go
