roms hacks and ez

Ok i've got a G6ds real (the newest firmware), I want to play Rom hacks like shiny gold but they dont work on ds flash carts

so i may get an ez-flash. My questions;

• Is EZ-flash (3in1) compatible with G6dsreal?
  Can the EZ-flash (3in1) play gba roms,homebrew and romhacks?
  Do i need anykind of system files to use the EZ-flash?
  Where is the cheapest place to buy it?
  Or should i go for the M3 gba expansion pack?*

*Note: i dont know if its compatatible with g6dsreal and if i can get hold of it.

Rom hacks for Pokemon on the EZ 3in1 are hard to get to work. Saving also won't work unless if you patch it right. Even after patching, I have to save it twice before turning my DS off, because it deletes the last save you have and loads the one before it. Emerald also needs me to save it twice but Fire Red doesn't.
