Allright I cleaned the rominator data folder save for the backup folder, and it seems to be working again, but now it won't show the boxarts nor icons anymore. I'm guessing that's what you're working on at the moment? Or is something still wrong with my files?

Thanks for the help

To show Icons is a setting in the Settings under Display. You need to check it.

Box Arts will download automatically when you click on a game. You don't need to delete the boxart file next time

I opened up the RSD (SQlite) file, I'm going to try updating the "ds.rsd" manually. At first when I opened it, it said the file was encrypted and I had to enter a password, all I did was randomly type something and to my surprise it worked

.

Edit: I need some help, for the id field how did you get the number zero in this and what does it mean? I'm guessing the version of the game/rom.
Code:
AQ3D|SPIDERMAN3DS|0

I don't know why you'd want to manually update the database? I update once a week, and tonight is that night

You never know, I just might change the way Rominator handles the database ;D

Actually, on that, yes I am changing the way Rominator handles the database, so manual updates won't really be possible.

And yes, the 0 is the version number.

Well I was planning to add some homebrews to the database to see if it would work and also wanted to know what that "0" meant, but since you're updating the database I would like to thank you

How exactly does Rominator handle incorrect roms?

Because I just removed the last 20 roms I acquired and the problem seems to be gone, but I would like to know EXACTLY what rom is the one giving me the problems :/

Well, to be honest, it doesn't handle them. I've actually never had it handle an incorrect rom

But upon testing myself with a bad dump, it still allows it in there, but shows no icon, no data, etc.

If you look at your list, where it cuts off, the NEXT game that should be on the list (in your games folder) is your culprit.

Hi,

it seems that Rominator does not detect correctly the available space on my microSD flash card.

rominator_flash_detection.jpg

It always says that there is 1.0B available only, although there is 1.3GB in fact.

I'm using the linux version.

Is there a way to orveride the avalaible space detection (that is to force the flash of my games to my card) ?

regards,
Typhoe

Hi!

First, I would thank you for this application! Great idea and such a great use.
But I would know when you project to add archive browser?
All my roms are with .zip extension and my HDD is almost full, I can't decompress them.

Thank you Hankchill

I will be adding single file Zip support to the next release. You can have your games individually zipped in an archive, and Rominator will handle it by unzipping and transferring to your flash card. It'll also do trainers and *possibly* allow for database info retreival

hey there.

this time i've just a little question for you: when do you think you'll be able to release a new version of your program?
about one week ago you posted that you're going to do a huge change in your code and that it would take a while. so, well, i'm checking this thread a few times a day from this time on
shy.gif
, to see if there are some news about it
wink.gif
. so could you please just give us a timeframe in which you are seeing the update to be released?
