Hacking Rom loading failed Errcode=-4

Hi guys,

So i got this problem.
I tried to play pokemon white on my Nintendo ds lite using a DSTT card updated to the 1.18 version.
im using a 4 gig sandisc sd card as storage.

but everytime i want to start pokemon white it gives me a error message telling me

[Rom loading failed]

load rom errcode=-4

please reset system

I would really appriciate if someone could tell me how to fix this error.

NOTE. im no computer technician so please discribe to me step by step what to do.

It won't load because the software on the cart hasn't been updated in ages. It'd be like trying to play a CD in a Ford Model T.

I did know that there was a retrogamefan sofware solution.
but i really don't know how to install it on my dstt.
can anyone tell me step by step how to install the firmwarefrom retrogamefan?

its not a Firmware, its a Kernel

So i downloaded retrogamefan software.
that leads me to another quistion. i am allready using kernel version 1.18. that is like the latest update.
so how can i still update it further?

RGF's is a different Kernel completely
you replace you current one with it

so you just update RGF's kernel from now on instead

i'm get mad with this DSTT card. The price make the quality, it's always true@@
When i get out of DSTT white screen, and i continue getting error code.
But, i still calm down and fix, lol. When get error code, i backup my games favorites and Format as Retrogamesfan make guide to install TTMenu.
And now, i play game normally but i know it still wait me to fix them
Maybe , i spend some money to buy Acekard better than

But i bought this DS with the DSTT card included for my girlfriend, not knowing that dstt is such a pain to work with.
anyway ill be trying to use RGF's kernel right now.

Still not working and still get a errcode =-4 error
Ill describe what i did and maby someone can point out what i did wrong.

I format my sd card.
Then i copied the latest TTMenu folder and TTMenu.dat to the root of my SD card
Then i copied the ttdldi.dat for dstti-clone/YSMenu/TTMENU/ and the ttpatch.dat for dstti-clone/YSMenu/TTMENU to the TTMenu on my SD
So now i have a TTMenu folder with the ttdldi.dat and ttpatch.dat included
After that i copied the YSMenu.dst to the root of my SD
I changed the name of the YSmenu.dst file into TTMenu.dat and overwrited the official TTMenu.dat with the new one.
After that i copppied the gamefolder onto the root of my SD
So now i have the TTMenu folder, the new TTMenu.dat (former YSMenu.dst) and the game folder with my games.

the i took out my SD card and put it in my DSTT card and put that one into my DS lite.

then i tried to run Pokemon white and black but still te error code.

(My ds says that i run YSmenu 6.98RGF)

What did i do wrong, and can someone please help me.
i really appriciate the help i allready recieved, but im stil not able to run pokemon black or white with succes.
