Hacking Rockband 2 SDHC FIX??

Ok, so I noticed a who bunch of patches coming out for various different games, such as the conduit, and language patches for some Japanese games. I don't know about the logistics of possibly adding SDHC support via a patch to the rockband 2 iso. Would this be a coding nightmare or is it just too deep in the the game code to be able to change or add?

Basically, IS THIS POSSIBLE?
