ROM Hack Ripping icons/banners from DSiWare?

It's pretty simple to rip the static menu icons of DS games to common image formats, but DSiWare titles have animated icons. How does one go about ripping those?

Sorry for the late response, but what I'm trying to do is rip each frame of the animation to a common format, like .png.

A user named 54634564 has posted a python script on that iso site a couple of years ago.
Well, I hope they won't mind if I repost that script here (original link seems to be dead anyways).
You'll need python2 installed and also convert.exe from ImageMagick placed in the same folder as the script.
Then you can run "python dsiware_icons.py file.nds", or just drag and drop nds file onto the script.
It will save animated icons as GIF's, and it'll also create "tmpFrames" folder with separate frames as PNG's.

I get "Invalid Parameter - Background" when I drag and drop, but running a command prompt seems to work. Thanks!
