Quick question. Should I bother AP patching my ROMs with DS-Scene ROM tool if I use this (perhaps for faster loading?) or does it not matter?

That is the original fix for DSTTs and does not work on all flashcarts.

Unfortunately, he won't be able to build it without him having the actual cart itself. I've tried many builds on that cart and it simply wouldn't work.

That is the original fix for DSTTs and does not work on all flashcarts.

The game loads in YSMenu but there is a white screen delay of about 20 seconds

Hi guys! Need some help here. I downloaded a Chinese Patched version of the game "Love Plus+" but I got an error code 4 when trying to the start the game using the latest YSMenu. I've also updated to the latest firmware on my DSLite which is using an original R4. Any suggestion on how to solve this? I've attached the error screen for reference.

I can confirm that R4i Revolution (www.r4-v.com) version works with the R4i-SDHC instructions.

Had fond memories of this kernel from my DSTT clone. Gave my old DS to my daughter and picked up a r4isdhc "2016" gold for cheap on a certain site that GBATemp promotes. It's a decent, speedy cart, but EGADS! The menu! Finding a game in a list of more than a dozen or so was painful.

Then someone told me you could install this alongside the original card soft, but you'd have to also boot into Ysmenu every time. But looking at the "multimedia_path.ini" made it seem that you could boot any .nds file from the "multimedia" icon, and I didn't get this thing for movie playback, so I changed it to ysmenu.nds. Quick and easy launch into a much better (and it seems more compatible with homebrew) system.

Excelent. Thanks for the update. Managed to set up Dual Boot on my 2014 R4i SDHC Dual Core.

Been following your updates since I got my TTDS way back then.

Just one question. Are custom skins possible? I find it difficult to read on the pokemon one with the red text.

In my v7.03 Multi Cart Update there is a YSMenu Skins folder. Try one of the Brushed Metal skins. Just copy/replace YSMenu.ini, YSMenu1.bmp and YSMenu2.bmp from the skins folder the the TTMenu folder on your µSD.
Otherwise, check the YSMENU SETTINGS section on the front page on how to add your own custom skins.
