Hi!

I have a TTDS and I downloaded the last version. When I play Pokemon HeartGold (spanish edition rom 4832 I think) if a pokemon level up during a combat and learn a new movement when it has already four the game get a screen frozen.

I tried to delete the game in extinfo.dat and then it works correctly, but sometimes the game crash (it's logic)
Did you know about this problem? In that case, is there any solution?

I've been away from the DS scene for quite some time now.

So, let me get this straight. This is like an alternative firmware for multiple carts? Will this work on my R4 DS with a 16GB uSD card? Would I be better off using WOOD R4? I mostly want to run home-brew emulators and .nds backups.

Yes, it is an alternate kernel. If your cart can use this, then yes it will work. If you have a original R4, then it will only accept upto a 2GB µSD.

Hello there, I have www.r4isdhc.com LABELLED R4 SDHC DUAL CORE and i dont know how to upgrade this, do I have to go to the card website, and download kernel and copy DAT2 Files into _rpg folder? if thats it, i cant still play Golden Sun

The info for this cart comes from other users (I do not own any cart from r4isdhc.com). Does the kernel your currently using from your carts website have an _rpg folder with some .dat files?

Thankyou for brining the problem to my attention. Please update to the newest DATs and it will fix the problem.

I can't help you I'm sorry. This is only a KERNEL update as it states on the front page. You can only get firmware updates from your carts website.

To RGF or anyone else: Is there a setting or a line I can add to YSMenu.ini to automatically create saves rather than asking to create them or not?

I combed through the ini file and google searched without much luck.

is there a way to make ysmenu the main firmware for r4i sdhc dualcore 2014 and not just dual booting?

I have www.r4isdhc.com LABELLED R4 SDHC DUAL CORE just like a person before said, mine has a "new" label.

the original kernel is here http://www.mediafire.com/download/hhbvk0vjk3pz2t7/r4isdhc-whiteEnglish1.51.rar it has a __rpg folder but replacing the files pointed out at the instructions doesn't seem to change anything(not sure if the interface is supposed to change at all, i'm just pointing it out just in case)and the game solatorobo doesn't work,: it starts, but when you save it doesn't actually save, and when you pick something up it says there's nothing, which is game breaking because even the item from the first mission cannot be picked up.

What's the difference between kernel and firmware? If the 3DS updates and blocks the cart, i have to update firmware rather than kernel, right?

Hey Guys if anyone can help be grateful, purchased a DSI for my son this Xmas and found my old R4i Clone (WWW.R4i3d.com) 2012 . . . to my surprise it mostly works still happy days, DSI is on 1.4 BTW, However Tried To Get Pokemon B2&W2 Running and Run into some problems . . . 1st Screens Went White , Turned Cheats and think Reset From (Global on) to (off) and it appeared to work, Soon find out the Pokemon are not receiving and Exp and Freezes in Places . . . So after a bit of kernel research as expected my card has long been out of production and on (WWW.R4i3d.com) it shows.

So from what i can make out and im no expert its using a hacked R4wood kernel so went direct to them and noticed they have upto V.1.62 was hoping my R4i3d would run it but it appears not, looking bit deeper (_rpg Folder) can see that i have a file mixinfo.dat and others have updater.dat or extinfo.dat/infolib.dat . . . so had trouble using newer kernels, then found this page tried a dual boot YSmenu which appeared to run went to run a game and got a DLDI error . ,

any help would be great unsure on firmware as there website is unhelpful.
