There seems to be a lot of people interested in PSX emulation to keep this going, which seems fine and in place with the forum rules since i don't see anyone complaining nor blaming retroarch devs for the lack of a 100% working emulator. I thought that was the point of a forum? discussion?

Also if anyone else is interested, here is a build by FIX94. It is slow but may be enough for those who want to give some jrpgs a try. Works with homebrew launcher 1.4.

But the op and anyone else working on this have said no interest. So to keep going on and on about it since they basically said no, is derailing and no purpose anymore in here.

Just stop.. Could we please stop talking about psx Dynarec? seriously its annoying, just cut the crap everyone already readed what you wanted no need to keep posting the same psx stuff on every freaking page.

No, we can't stop, not because we want it but because it would be a HUGE advancement for the Wii U scene. Why, you may ask? Well, exactly because of the dynarec. We are not developers and can't conde shit, so we can only suggest other software that MAY have an usable dynarec

Now, can you stop telling us to stop? No one is being disrespectful or rushing the devs here, so you have no reason to rant

What an obnoxious thread. It's impossible to track down progress on legitimate realistic feature requests like Pro controller support, MAME screen flipping or ports of some older systems like MSX or the Atari systems. Begging and pleading isn't a good look and isn't going to motivate anyone to pick up this project - they know that if they get somewhere with PSX, an hour later people will be begging for N64, DS, etc...

My thoughts exactly, let's include more cores instead fixing the actual ones, and polishing basic features...

you dont need to ask for the same exact thing on every single page, heck if i was a developer the more the same people would wine on every page less motivation i would have to do it. you can ask once but not every single damn page for the last 20+ pages ...

Actually i don't ask for it every single page. Others may, i don't.

However i can say i'm pretty bothered with how Alias talked about it.

Please read yourself again and think about how effin weird that sounds.

Would you add more rooms to a house in mid-construction?

Also please stop misjudging suggestion for begging. I explained it before, there's nothing wrong with talking about apps that could have a valid PPC dynarec. No one is saying Please do it, it's more like How about this or that.

Hell there's sill multiplayer, other controllers and USB support to be implemented, do you guys think we don't have our priorities straigh? But there's nothing wrong on this, nor we're doing it with ill intentions.

I think he may have poorly worded it, but he was actually calling out people who wanted more cores (or at least cores that would require more than a simple port). With regard to some things like Atari and MSX or whatever other very oldschool cores are missing, I think they are missing due to lack of interest on the part of the devs. It would be pretty trivial compared to anything being begged for in this thread.

Oh the Temp's drama never disappoints me <3
Just ease it up a little bit, I can see that we can't go past 3 replies without the word "dynarec" or "N64/PSX" in a post.

A new dynarec is something that doesn't come in the flash of an eye, it takes a long time to do, and remember the devs have several projects in their belt (3DS RetroArch, Wii U RetroArch) and the current build of RetroArch still has more To-Do" things on the list of the OP to even begin talking about the dynarecs.

Just give it a rest for some time, the devs also get tired of the same constant "suggestions" over and over again.

that is basicaly waht i wanted, sugesting the same thing over and over on every page wont make it happen faster, i want a n64 core and a Hatari core but im not sugesting the same thing over and over on every page, people need to calm down, we dont even have multiplayer on the cores we have and there are still missing key features like screen rotation and other oldschool cores that would be simple to port before going all out ofr pcx/n64.

There are already MSX and Atari 2600 ports added the other day..

Thread is going weird... :V

Talk of PSX/N64/PSP emulation is of course a lovely thing to fantasise about. I get why people are asking the questions and throwing in some suggestions. It's just as others have pointed out, it'd probably be nicer to have screen rotation/multiplayer on what we currently have first (and damn, it's quite a fair bit). Huge respect to everybody making all of this happen and those who are testing the cores (and given me some tips on getting a few things running many pages ago).

Keep it nice. Because this is awesome. Maybe resolve/correct an issue you have with another user with a polite pm?

New nightly builds are out :P
Has there been any commit regarding the Wii U builds in the last days?
Last one I believe was way back when FIX94 did the last audio fixes, which was like 29 or 30 November builds.
Unless there are any more commits made to the Wii U side, I won't update the nightlies I currently have, there is no point. xD

I'd suggest the same too, keep ELF file format for cores for almost every core which is not FBA or MAME, and only use RPX for these last two.
