Apparently mGBA has been added to the latest nightly.
I tried loading the .cia version for it, and I got a hard freeze on "could not push null or empty core" or something like that. I'm curious as to what caused it. gpSP works perfectly fine though.

I'm getting much better framerates in gpsp using dynarec than mgba anyway. Full speed in both Mario World and Sonic Advance 3.

Nice!

So that means N3DS ninjhax 1.1b cia version is faster than the N3DS ninjhax 2.1 3dsx version.

What speed do you get in Virtual Boy Wario land with cia dynarec?

CatSFC running great as a .cia on my n3DS! Very excited about that.

Quick question, and this has always been a thing but I've never really addressed it - has anyone noticed that the audio is playing in a higher pitch on CatSFC? It definitely is for me. Is there some kind of audio setting I can change to make it sound closer to what it would generally sound like?

That's just how CATSFC is. It's based on an older version of SNES9X before the accurate sound rewrite IIRC. So no way around that.
Actually we managed to integrate the accurate sound (blargg apu) from later snes9x versions into CATSFC, it made it run slower of course, but it was still a bit faster than snes9x_next.

here is a modified version of CATSFC if you want to test it, I doubt that you will get playable speeds out of it.

this version is a bit unstable though, so it might crash with some games.

GPSP needs Core Button Mapping so the L and R Buttons can be mapped to X and Y if you want them to be for some Games like KOF or SSF2TR

Was just playing Sonic 3 on Picodrive on my o3DS. Running surprisingly well, 35+ fps. It very often runs at full speed! Yoshi's Island runs at 12-30fps on Catsfc, SMW gets 30+. I wouldn't be surprised if it hit fullspeed on o3DS at some point.

super mario world was capable of running at 60fps at all times on the original DS so if it doesn't get to that point eventually i'm gonna be really disappointed :P

The reason that was possible on the DS was, imo, because emulators on the DS took advantage of its 2D hardware to offload graphic processing, something the 3DS doesn't have (to our knowledge), so it either has to handle that via software or attempt to use the 3D GPU to do it, the latter lacking many key features that would reduce the load to replicate the visuals. For as much as blargSNES does well with hardware-rendering, it's still requires a lot from the CPU to pull off, and the results aren't perfect.

Hey, so noobie wii modderhere, with an already hacked wii from my brother with homebrew channel ands hitand d2x cIOS installer, so i was trying to run some old wii games i lost off of USB Loader GX, im aware that your supposed to use a usb drive, but currently the only drive i have is used for steam games and personal stuff so i'm gonna try running them off a 32 GB Fat32 SD Card that i use for all the wii mods i have, but when i try and launch skyward sword from usb loader gx, it goes black for a second then sends me back to homebrew channel? i just looked for guides on here and saw one that said to install CiOS v8 Final Base 57 onto slot 49? but it still does the same even after i do that
