I finished a race in CTR with an average of 12 FPS on the .3dsx build(n3DS). Way better than I was expecting.
Time to test Sim City 2000.

I do have the directory set to where the save files are.I believe the saves should go to sd:/retroarch/savefiles/XXXX(corename).
If you have setup the settings right. Why not try to save your game on 3ds,
and Check your SD card to see where the savegame goes?
What emulator did the file come from?I do have the directory set to where the save files are.
Kirbys Adventure (USA) rom creates Kirbys Adventure (USA).srm and the .srm is located in sd:/retroarch/savefiles/quickNES. I set my savefile directory to sd:/retroarch/savefiles/quickNES. I have also tried variations such as putting the savefiles folder within retroarch/cores and naming the quickNES folder quickNES_libretro to match the name of the core itself. And yes I changed the directory with each variation test.
It's a fresh save file created with quickNES itself on my o3DS. The kind of file you get when closing RetroArch and it says "successfully saved rom.srm to <directory>". I ditched using the PC emulator save, that was just a test to see if I could get any proper save file to work on quickNES.What emulator did the file come from?
Not in O3DS, you should stick with blargsnesPicodrive is really really cool now. But I think that in Castlevania Bloodlines it gets a bit laggy depending on the scene. Also, the thing our friend commented above, the lock up core after the first game. However, great work, guys!
Do the Snes emulators would run like Blargsnes on o3ds?
Thanks a lot!

The guy who created blargsnes is taking a break from it, but it doesn't seems like he wants to comeback lol.And you think the guy who created Blargsnes still work on it?
And, for GBA games, it would be possible a good or decent frame rate speed on o3ds?

In this moment your only option is mGBA with frameskips (And it will still run slow as fuck).
Unless you have a console with firm 9.2, there's not much that we can do.
No, if you're on 4.2 you'll get dynarec too. But there is no reason to be on 4.2. Upgrade to 9.2. But do not go over 9.2!So, if I would have my sysnand on 9.2 (im on 4.2 or something) it would runs better?
Its a shame about the Blargsnes guy. Its a great emulator.

Serious question. Does anybody use .3ds homebrew?Just noticed this:

"makerom: added n3ds core2 access flag"
Could using an additional 804MHz n3ds core possibly speed up some systems like 32x?
Edit: another cool thing, steveice has added .3ds support for 804MHz

Gateway users probably do. Think about it though, with tons of cores being updated every day, not having to re-install them every time might be cool.Serious question. Does anybody use .3ds homebrew?

They don't need to be converted if they're already built with makerom alongside the cia and 3dsx. That's possible with this:I guess.
Seems like it would be more of a hassle converting them though. It'd be faster to install the CIA. Lol.
RetroArch doesn't come with .3DS builds. They don't need to be converted if they're already built with makerom alongside the cia and 3dsx. That's possible with this:

I think that's essentially what libretro team is using albeit maybe a little outdated.
