Cool! This is the global stuff I would like to see enhanced:
- gpsp dynarec
- general tearing
- tweak psx emulator, to reach full speed!
- N64 emulation? :)
I'd be happy with just the first two to be honest.
As for the third, I would prefer 100% compatibility and performance for Mednafen VB. :P

And hopefully 3D along with it, it baffles me as to why we still haven't gotten Virtual Boy Virtual Console yet, nor a proper emu for it that's fully operational. :P

Is there anything above 20 fps in any VB emulator?

Yeah somone "contributed" that, it shouldn't have been merged... what a pita.
Edit: I removed that hack, should be fine now.

BTW: the main dev just got a 3ds so hopefully we can fix the long outstanding issues.
There's a similar problem with Mednafen PCE. You can't rebind the buttons, and (iirc) ZR somehow switches the controllers.

If I were to add one thing to the list, it would be some kind of onscreen keyboard for things like DOSbox.

To be fair, I'm pretty happy with where the project stands now. When I first started messing handheld homebrews, the DSlite was where it was at. Even though my DSXtreme could do a lot of neat things, I really wanted to play Super Mario RPG on a handheld. 10 years later, I got my wish with Retroarch, and I could ask for nothing more.

My thanks to the people who made this project happen and gave us so many neat things to mess with.

Is the PCE emulator still supposed to be so bad on O3DS? The OP says it should be near 60fps or at least playable, but even with games like Bomberman or R-Type the most I can get it to put out is 40 or so FPS after I've disabled sound.

hi there, I have trouble with picodrive for the 32x rom

it says me error whenever I try

i've put the 3 bios in cores/system

what I'm doing wrong ?

Are you using the CIA or 3dsx version? 32X games need the dynarec feature, which is only available on the CIA version.

stuff changed on the latest nightlies, I guess! :)
- catsfc+.cia vanished.
- new cores were added
- 3D effect were untouched I think.

- on genesis+gx.cia:
* video filters still impossible to use.
* tearing to the right screen on some games
* a new issue appeared: on some games, when you move the screen is like "shaking" or something. Very inconfortable

- on gpsp.cia:
* the line at the top is still here. BUT it vanishes with a filter activated (LQ2X for me).
* I experienced the same "screen shaking".

- on picodrive.cia:
*really small tearing at the left of the screen without LQ2X filter.
* huge screen tearing at the right of the screen with LQ2X filter on, exactly as genesis+gx without filters.

It seems stuff are done again on those cores. :)

I would like to see:
- filters for genesis+gx
- those crazy tearing gone.

Good luck, guys!! :)
