Go to that site scroll down to cores and click on pcsx- rearmed and it will give you the info of the bios and md5 hash number to check the one you have. And rename it how it is on there.Where do I find the core by the way ?

I'm a scrub... It's noted on the wikia. Someone, slap me !What!!
You place the bios in the retroarch folder. Inside retroarch folder is more folders put bios in system folder.
Given your advice I think I'll steer away from SFX chip games, so what would you recommend for just basic SNES emulation?I wouldn't expect much from games using SFX. Overall, PocketSNES, CatSFC, and CatSFC Plus are your best bet. PocketSNES will be a bit faster but some games might only work with the other two, so I'd experiment around with it. I haven't messed with them much since I'm on o3DS, so BlargSnes is still my best bet.
PocketSNES can run certain SFX games well. Yoshi's Island runs fine, but Starfox has low framerate.Given your advice I think I'll steer away from SFX chip games, so what would you recommend for just basic SNES emulation?
So would PocketSNES be any good for emulating regular SNES games? Or should I use another emulator?PocketSNES can run certain SFX games well. Yoshi's Island runs fine, but Starfox has low framerate.
@hcenteno21 neogeo.zip needs to be in your roms folder.

On N3DS, I'd try out PocketSNES, if it gives you problems then try BlargSnes. O3DS, I'd just stick to BlargSnes.Given your advice I think I'll steer away from SFX chip games, so what would you recommend for just basic SNES emulation?
Weird, I can't install Ironhax. So I have to hax with the browserhax. Maybe that's why PCSX doesn't work on my side :/have read most of this thread! I got the emulators i wanted all working for the exception on the ps1 emu and neogeo.
I should mention I am on the latest firmware 10.3.0-28 with homebrew through ironfall.
For PS1 it just doesn't get over 17fps. i turned off vsync and audiosync i tried bios inside system folder in retroarch
for neogeo i cannot load any rom i keep getting 4096 error i have tried roms from several places i tried roms and neogeo.zip inside emu folder, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'd say so. The only game I've had problems with is Star Fox.So would PocketSNES be any good for emulating regular SNES games? Or should I use another emulator?
I don't think so. Still can't get it to work for me.Is mame working now?
