Hi, sorry if I’m posting this in the wrong forum but basically I accidentally formatted my usb with my botw saves on them. I used easeus to retrieve the save files but they’re in a flash wave format or something. I know the Wii U has it’s on file encryption and that I’m most likely SOL but I thought I’d see what anyone thinks before I give up. Thanks.

What do the files look like that you were able to save?
They are named file0, file1, etc, but they ate in shockwave format .SWF, but I assumed that was what my computer recognized the file as because I’ve never used that USB for anything other than WiiU content.

You may be able to use saviine to inject them. I would first go on your game and make a new save. Then use saviine to dump that save. Then compare the files in the folder. Then try and inject your save using the same directory structure

I will give that a try.
